Download UC 9.0
beta. Gohere To download the java UC version 9.0 beta. They have updated both Browser and Udisk, the online cloud storage now in this version 9.0.
Tab colors
On browser side
some improvements are made on tab colors to identify the exact tab. It also have an adverse effect of confusing while using other themes.
Right click
It is "right click" or pressing"action key" or "1" or "r" in qwerty.. In the last 8.9 version they have all features when right clicked. But now it has been limited when clicking images and links. In the last version we could check where the link is forwading us by right clicking and selecting "page info". But now, the page info has been taken out when the right click is made on an image or a link. To see the url of the link you should copy the link by right clicking=> select and copy=> copy link. You should copy the link and visit the clipboard to view the url. When the above actions are made in an image it simply copies the image source. When an image with both link and source is enabled is right clicked and copies the browser copies the link only.
U Disk
Udisk has expanded its streaming supported formats. Now you can also play any video online after downloading it to the Udisk. So, now you can preview some more videos.
Theme
Some changes have been made in the theme side too. Now the active tab are displayed in blue color. The inactive tabs are displayed in violet color. The common links available on the home page are displayed in blue color in mouse over. Settings's options are looking like an image , so that you could easily understand the selected option. A blink is displayed on the options near right and left soft key and provides a feel of touch.
Download speed in Uc 9.0 beta
Download speed has been reduced for large files. It takes about only 10-20 kb which is less compared to the 15-30 kb in older version. The speed is equally splitted while using multiple downloads.
File Manager in UC 9.0 beta
The file manager has'nt changed very much than the theme. As in the older version you can edit any file's extension except .jar and .jad extension files. Note:To manage your file via uc enable the ask once option in your application settings.
Browsing in version 9.0 beta
Browsing is very enhanced in the new UC. It also comes with the option of displaying favicons in the address bar. This feature is enabled in Opera mini 7.1 (java) and disabled in UC 8.9.
